In the beginning…

Ok. So this is the official first post :) The building blocks for the site are mainly there. FAQ names a number of questions I think I need to answer at some point.

Now I can focus on adding content ;)

Somehow I felt that I needed to start with something that sets the project into right direction. So no ugly technical details. Just a piece to drop an idea about what kind of heart and mind I have. Therefore, I give you “Dream” as I have originally published it:

I Have a Dream, a Prayer to Pray

I have a dream. A dream where all the tears are wiped away. Where we no longer hope, but see that we are children of God in glory. A dream where, in the big meetup, we face each other as brothers and sisters.

I have a dream. A dream where we acknowledge our own death in Christ and His new life in us. Where the DNA – the code of life – of His resurrection manifests in our lives. A dream where God transforms us into the likeness of His Son.

I have a dream. A dream where we mature in our faith and grow in knowing God all our lives. Where He fills us with His presence and His peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. A dream where God, the supreme Potter reworks us into jars of clay shining His glory living in us.

I have a dream. A dream where God draws near to us and where we draw near to Him. Where, when approaching Him, we also come closer to one another. A dream where we find a unity of hearts and a unity of minds in Him and nowhere else.

I have a dream. A dream where we are in the body of Christ where He wants us to be. Where we encourage and support one another on our way home. A dream where we are His hands, where we express His love and His will to one another and to His entire creation.

I have a dream. A dream where we invite others to share the journey with us. Where we let God fill our hearts and minds and we give them to our communities. A dream where we are His instruments of mercy and justice and love.

I have a dream. A dream where we can face each other as our genuine selves. Where we can disagree and not be afraid. A dream where we are free.

I know that we will not become perfect in this life. But this dream is larger than life. And I have an idea about how we can strive for this dream.
